Hi, I'm Mihai

I build the apps on this site. All of them, start to finish.

I've been writing code since I was a kid. It started with BASIC and small games. Nothing fancy, but they worked, and seeing something I typed actually run was enough to get me hooked. After that came Pascal, then C++, C#, .NET and SQL, and a lot more along the way.

For me it was never only a job. I like building things. I like the moment when an idea turns into something you can click. That's still the best part.

What PhabletApps is

PhabletApps is the name I use for the apps I make: for phones and for the web. It's not a company with an office and a team. It's me, a private person (persoană fizică) in Romania.

Right now the big one is VoltTrial, an electronics game that runs in your browser. You place parts, wire them, press Run and see what happens. The Learn section comes from the same idea: if you can play with it, you get it faster than from a wall of text.

How I work

• Simple first. If a screen needs a manual, the screen is wrong.
• No dark patterns. You can close it, refuse it or delete it.
• I fix what people report. That's how the apps get better.
